I believe in clear communication, no surprises, and a process that puts you at ease. Here's how we work together—from booking to delivery.

Enquiry

Fill in the contact form or give me a call. Tell me about your day—the date, the vibe, what matters most to you. I'll respond within 24 hours (usually much sooner) to confirm availability and answer any initial questions.

Consultation call

We'll have a 20–30 minute chat (phone or video, your choice) about your vision. What kind of moments do you want captured? Who are the key people? What's the timeline looking like? This is where I get to know you and you get to see if we're the right fit.

Booking & contract

Once you're happy, I'll send over a straightforward contract and invoice for the deposit (30%). Sign, pay, and your date is locked in my diary. No one else gets that day. It's yours.

Pre-event planning

A few weeks before, we'll finalise the details. I'll ask about your timeline, any specific shots you want (family groups, venue details), and create a mood-board together if you'd like. I'll check in regularly so you know I'm on top of everything.

Your day

I arrive early, blend in, and capture everything as it unfolds. You won't notice me hovering (I promise), but I'll be there for every laugh, every tear, every chaotic beautiful moment. Two cameras, no interruptions, just honest documentation.

Gallery delivery

Within 6 weeks, you'll receive your curated online gallery—fully downloadable with complete print rights. I'll send you a sneak peek within 48 hours so you can relive the day while it's still fresh. Every image is edited to my light-led, editorial style.

Common questions

Do you travel?

Yes—York and beyond. I'm based in York but cover weddings and sessions across Yorkshire, the UK, and I'm always up for destination weddings. Travel within 50 miles is included in all packages; for further distances, we'll chat about logistics.

What's your editing style?

Light-led, warm, editorial. I enhance natural tones rather than overly filtering them. Think warm neutrals, soft shadows, and images that feel timeless—not trendy. You'll recognise yourselves, just in the best possible light.

How do we book?

Get in touch via the contact form or give me a call. We'll have a consultation chat to make sure we're the right fit, then I'll send over a contract and invoice for the deposit (30%). Once signed and paid, your date is locked in.

Can we meet beforehand?

Absolutely. I love meeting couples before the big day—whether that's over coffee in York or a video call if you're further afield. It helps us both feel comfortable and gives me a better sense of your vision.

What if we need to reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to change your date, we'll work it out together. I'll do my best to accommodate your new date if it's available. No drama, just clear communication.
